Tim Andrews Now to Go Green Racing

On Monday, Tim Andrews announced on Twitter that he has left Key Motorsports. He added that he will be in the 04 Go Green Racing Ford starting this weekend at Charlotte, and will stay in the 04 for the rest of the year.

I asked Andrews on his reason on his leaving from Key Motorsports, he replied back saying that he wants to position himself for the 2012 season, and he is trying to get back to competitive cars. Andrews, in his 14 races with Key Motorsports, missed three races, had an average finish of 38.8 (start-and-parked in 10 of those events), with 25th being his best start coming at Nashville.

This will be the fourth different team Andrews will be running for this year. First coming from Las Vegas driving in the 68 Fleur-de-Lis Motorsports Ford (only race driving for this team). He then started driving for Rick Russell in the 79 2nd Chance Motorsports Ford starting at Fontana (Ended after Russell fired both Andrews and the pit crew after Chicago). And now the previous being Key Motorsports that starting at Michigan, driving mainly in the 42 (drove the 40 at Lucas Oil Raceway).
