Ambrose Finally Gets First Win w/ Scary Wrecks

Ambrose finally made his way to Victory Lane for the 2011 Heluva Good! Sour Cream Dips at the Glen. It was his first NASCAR Sprint Cup win.

This race had its moments of hard wrecks. The first hard wreck had Kurt Busch. It wasn't violent, but it killed the car. The second hard wreck was Denny Hamlin. he slammed into the Turn 1 tire barrier, which somewhat looked like Jimmie Johnson's 2000 Lysol 200 crash at the same turn. He was shaken up, but walked away under his own power. The next big wreck was Paul Menard. He cut a tire and slammed into the wall pretty hard.  Moments later, under the car, it caught on fire, it later went out itself. Menard later got out of the car after NASCAR forced him.

The last big wreck, and the biggest out of all of them was for David Ragan and David Reutimann. Boris Said spun Ragan hard into the wall just after Turn 1. Ragan bounced off the wall and came down to Reutimann's car. Reutimann's car hit the ARMCO so hard it ricocheted and flipped the car. Amazingly, both Ragan and Reutimann walked out with their own power.

The Cup guys head to Michigan next week.
