Wild Coast To Victory

Once again, its the last lap, on the final turns of the race, leader that took the white flag doesn't take the checkered flag.

It was a quiet night. No serious incidents, only 4 cautions (competition caution, one for Ricky Stenhouse Jr hitting the wall, and the other two for oil on the track), but the last 50 laps were something to watch. Everyone that pitted on the last caution were just going to barely make it. At first, it looked like it was going to be between Carl Edwards and Elliott Sadler, but in the closing laps Elliott Sadler had to pit cause a tire was going down in the closing laps. Justin Allgaier was coming quickly. On the last lap, coming to Turn 3, Edwards runs out of gas. Then just seconds later, Allgaier runs out of gas. Both cars coasted to the finish and Allgaier came off with the win, becoming the second Nationwide-regular to win this year.

According to some tweets moments after the finish, pretty much everyone ran out of fuel on that last lap.

There's no Nationwide race next week. The next Nationwide race will be on June 18 at Michigan.
